👩‍🍳 NEW! Junior Teen Soup & Fall Dessert Class (Ages 11–14)

Saturday, November 15th | 4:30–7:30 PM

Location: 53 Yonge Street Portsmouth Olympic Harbour 2nd floor – elevator access available
3 hours — $75 + tax per teen

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new hands-on class for ages 11–14! This class is NEW because it’s designed to give each teen a more personal, skill-focused experience:

• Smaller group sizes for more one-on-one attention from the instructor

• More techniques and skills taught, including chopping, sautéing, seasoning, and plating

• Recipe folder for each teen so they can recreate everything at home

• A chance to build confidence and independence in the kitchen while having fun

In this cozy, fall-inspired workshop, teens will learn essential kitchen skills , from chopping and sautéing to seasoning and plating, while making delicious soups and a seasonal dessert.

Participants will work together to create :

• Soup #1: Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

• Soup #2: Cheddar Broccoli Soup

• Side: Fluffy Herb Biscuits

• Dessert: Mini Pumpkin Spice Cakes

  Students can enjoy their creations during class and/or take home. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, learn safe cooking techniques, and discover the joy of making food from scratch.

All ingredients, equipment, and supplies are provided — no experience necessary, just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Safety & Drop-Off Information:

• This is a DROP-OFF CLASS: Parents/guardians will drop off their child at the start and pick up promptly at 7:30 PM.

• Adults picking up children must show ID to verify who they are.

• Teens must follow kitchen rules and use equipment safely to ensure a safe, fun environment.

• Waivers will be sent by email and must be completed and returned before the class. Failure to submit a waiver will result in inability to participate, no refunds will be offered.

• Recommended for ages 11–14 years old.

• We can accommodate some allergies and sensitivities, but cross-contamination is not preventable and participation is at your own risk.

• Elevator is on site; if you need to use it, please let us know.

• Feel free to bring your own aprons and containers to take home food — if not, we have some available for you!
