π Loblaws Cooking School β Upstairs, 1100 Princess Street
Step into the kitchen and cook like a pro in this hands-on Appetizer cooking class, designed especially for pre-teens ages 11β14. In this 2.5-hour session, students will learn how to create fun, shareable small plates while building confidence, teamwork, and essential kitchen skills.
Loaded Baked Potatoes
Pinwheel Italian Calzones
Fruit Tarts Γ la Mode
Students will work in small groups to prep, cook, and plate their dishes, finishing the class by enjoying the meal they created together.
Safe knife handling and kitchen safety
Pan cooking and timing
Seasoning and flavour balance
Plating and presentation
Kitchen teamwork and clean-up habits
Drop-off class for ages 11β14.
All participants must have a completed waiver on file prior to the class.
Closed-toe shoes are required; long hair must be tied back.
Aprons will be provided.
Please notify us of any food allergies at registration. While accommodations may be made, the kitchen is not allergen-free.
By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the kitchen safety rules and participation waiver required for all cooking classes.
